In partnership with KTC, they launched the ‘Unseen Taiwan 2024’ campaign, promoting year-round travel and revealing the eco-friendly ‘Taiwan – Waves of Wonder’ logo. This initiative targets Thai travelers seeking nearby, personalized, and sustainable experiences. By year-end, Taiwan Tourism aims to increase Thai visitors to at least pre-COVID levels.

Some people go to a holiday camp, others stay in a trailer, go backpacking, or stay in a hostel or a hotel. Families often take a vacation together. Because the cost of many things is becoming higher, some people are giving up going on vacation to other countries, and are staying in their home country and finding interesting places to go there. This type of trip is known colloquially as a “staycation“.
